The immune system is a very complex system in our body which prevents us from our enemies like viruses, bacteria fungi, and parasites or any other insult to our body To boost your immune system and to keep it healthy you have to follow following rules
Sleep well for 8 hours daily. If your sleep is disturbed immune system will be disturbed. Consult a doctor if you don't sleep well
Regular exercise daily. Brisk walking for one hour daily
Diet. Have a nutritious and balanced diet. Add all green leafy vegetables to your food
All types of fruits Don't throw or waste seeds of fruits collect them dry and use in the future. Seeds are best for boosting your immune system
Dry fruits Use all sorts of dry fruits in little quantities. Mix all dry fruits and consume them. Dry fruits boost the immune system
Include all varieties of pulses in your diet. Then meat fish chickens to be consumed occasionally.
Use high fiber foods vegetable fruits dry fruits and oats early in the morning..consume curd twice daily. Just one little bowel is enough.
Avoid all fast and junk foods
Avoid foods prepared outside. They contain trans fats which are very harmful
Hydration. Keep your self well hydrated. Take eight glasses of water per day and add cups of green tea or qehwa one cup of coffee per day and 2 cups of Lipton tea per day. Namkeen tea has no food value. Don't wait for feeling thirsty take required quantity of fluids include fruit juice in the morning
Limit sugary foods Avoid all high sugar foods like pastries cakes etc
Manage your stress level
Keep your self busy. Talk to your family and friends Recall past
Read books Listen to Radio and watch TV enjoy music. Write your experiences. Do indoor exercise regularly. Act upon religious principles firmly Doesn't allow your self to go out of mind. Consult your family doctor if you have some problems. If your mind is stable your immune system is stable. Don't believe in supplements you don't have the guarantee that they are real
Ayurvedic medicines are also providing good results, according to Ayush mantrailaya there are certain guidelines to follow them,
The general measures are;- Drink warm water through the day. daily practice yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation for at least 30 minutes. spices like Haldi [turmeric] jeera [cumin],dhaniya [coriander] and lasun[garlic] in food cooking take chyavanprash 10 gms tsf in the morning, diabetics should take sugar-free chyavanprash.
drink herbal tea/Kada made from tulsi[basil] dalchini[cinnamon] kalimirch[black pepper]shuthi [dry ginger] and munakka[raisin] - once or twice a day. add jaggery[natural sugar] and or fresh lemon juice to your taste if needed.
for kids in milk add half tsp of haldi[turmeric] powder in 150 ml of hot milk-once or twice a day.
for nasal application apply sesame oil/coconut oil or ghee in both the nostrils in the morning and evening. But you see your diet with your eyes and you are sure what you are consuming.
There is no supplementary food or drug to date which will help you to fight Coronavirus. Boost your immune system by above mentioned scientific principles and take every possible precaution to save your self from Corona infection
